For 5 years and after 20 million people took Vioxx were its risks disclosed. Individually many physicians had observed the side effects. But there was no effective system for them to report and pool their experience information together to be useful for others, timely. That was what motivated us to start HealthLat. We believe that collaboratively we can transform our health care system to be more transparent, safer, and less expensive.

We understand that medical information is extremely personal. The team behind HealthLat is led by a health care veteran from Deloitte Consulting and a database expert. We have years of experience to build and run secure systems used to compile and organize sensitive health information.

HealthLat is an independent company. We are not representatives of pharmaceutical companies nor do we have any vested interest in your method of healthcare or drug choices.
